check the auction sites now,
if you don\'t mind paying 1 to 2 hundred dollars more you can get one right now, often with a memory card and controller or remote controller...

yeah Ebay prices have been only 100 to 150 above retail but you have to include shipping and other Online auction dealings

I bought mine from ebay about a month ago for $500 and it included shipping.  If I would have bought from a store(considering I could find a PS2) it would have been about $330 with tax. so I payed $170 over.
