So E3 is just a few days away and with the new generation lots of games are going to be announced as well as new features, hardware and the likes. What is everyone looking forward to the most? What are your expectations?
I'm looking forward to hearing anything new on PS Now. Also its rumored more news about Mass Effect 4 is going to be released.
-
mass effect is a big one for me too. probably the biggest
second is The Divison. I really hope the gameplay demo they first showed was real and won't end up being watered down, but it seems a little too good to be true right now
witcher 3, uncharted....and the last guardian

Damn, Uncharted 4 looks so amazing. I remember seeing Uncharted 1 and it looks very good, and a few years later Uncharted 2 comes out and it looks even better like CG quality for its time.
So if that's any indication, i think Uncharted 5 will probably looks even better than Uncharted 4. Such as better lighting and texture that will make it look just like CG video. If Uncharted 5 ever come out in the future. It will probably uses most of ps4 power by then. which might be in 2 - 3 years from now.

I haven't had a chance to sit down and watch everything, but some stuff peeked my interest. The division still looks great and loved that they gave an update on mass effect (loved what little they've shown. Curious how the galaxy works and if its like the past iterations)
The 5ish minutes of the conference I watched was pretty meh. The guy who was talking about PlayStation TV was boring as FUCK. But the thing itself sounded pretty cool
Batman also looks amazing
Rainbow six...well see. Been in development for like 5 years and they're still in pre-alpha stage lol. But I liked the attempt to make it more like the first one and tactically enter a building

i thought dead island 2 trailer looks very entertaining. I think its rendered in CG. Not sure if the game is any good though but the trailer is very funny.
-
I have to say, Alien Isolation looks pretty cool. Almost forgot they were showing this off. Though I am getting excited for it. Looks like the perfect 180 from the shit storm of Colonial Marines.
-
that alien isolation has great graphic. looks very CG.

Its supposed to be a survival game and so far from what people that have played it said, its challenging and scary at the same time. You could play it multiple times and never have the same thing happen twice. I may have to get this one at launch.
-
anyone know if playstation tv will let you stream blu ray movies to another tv in your house? And does it have to be a smart tv? the information on it is a little vague
all theyre really touting is being able to play games remotely on another tv and playstation now games
I'd be infinitely more interested in using it for movies than games

i ahve nowhere to put this, and its not worth making a thread over. But i just sent my first message on psn, and the use of the touchpad to type a message is fucking BRILLIANT. best use ive seen from it in any way so far. completely gets rid of the need from last gen of having a bulky keyboard plugin or needing a usb keyboard to type anything substantial

oh cool.

I must say that is nifty. The one thing I hated with a passion on the PS3 was having to use the thumbsticks to search or type a message. I never felt like hooking up a keyboard since I didn't have the room to store it on my coffee table and didn't need any more wires coming from that thing (already have a hub hooked up and full on it). Good news to hear about the touchpad getting some use :)
