Amazon UK has once again dropped the prices of the latest home consoles, the PS4 and Xbox One, reducing both to a more than reasonable price.

The online retailer has decided that the time is ripe to strip away the RRP for the PS4 and Xbox One and as such have reduced the consoles to £319.99, more than £30 cheaper than the RRP.

Amazon has been running a few deals over the last few weeks, mostly related to console bundles for upcoming games, such as Sunset Overdrive and Alien: Isolation, which both got very favourable bundle and reviews to match.

However, Amazon is known for reducing prices on items only to put them back up to their original asking price without giving any notice, so if you’re in the market for a cheap PS4 or Xbox One, now may be the time to go all-in and pick up a competitively priced console.

Expect more offers from Amazon and other retailers in the run up to Christmas, they’ll all be pandering for your business soon enough!

yeah.  i suppose his birthday is so close to the holiday seasons but not close enough to get a price drop on gaming systems.

i wonder if he could price match it though.  in america, there is a 15 days return, exchange, and even a price match for electronics that are bought in that time frame.  Not sure about UK though...

Well its been a year since they were launched so I guess a price reduction was going to come sooner or later. There may be some good deals on for Christmas coming up also.

is it possible to price match it after you got it?  what is the return/exchange/price match policy there like?

like how many days can you return/exchange/price match it after you got it?
