This is a list of The Best video games that had been censored or banned by governments of various states in the world.
GRAND THEFT AUTO V
AUSTRALIA
Target and Kmart pulled the game from their stores after a petition launched by three women gained more than 40,000 signatures. Some men have responded by starting a petition to ban 50 Shades of Grey.
INJUSTICE: GAUS
United Arab Emirates
For inferring that DC comic superheroes were “Gods”. It was renamed Injustice: The Mighty Among Us and the ban was later lifted.
BATTLEFIELD 4
China
Chinese officials believed it discredited their national image, labelling it a threat to national security and cultural invasion.
MASS EFFECT
Singapore
Not banned because you can have sex with an alien, but because that alien sex included a lesbian encounter.
SPLINTER CELL: PANDORA TOMORROW
Indonesia
Banned because the President believed the fictional organisation in the game was a genuine threat to the country.
POKEMON TRADING CARD GAME
Saudi Arabia
Banned because they believed some cards contained hidden Stars of David and therefore promoted Zionism.
EA SPORTS MMA
Denmark
They were fine with the violence, but not with the marketing of certain energy drinks, which the publisher chose not to remove from the game.

I remember Manhunt on ps2 getting banned is a few countries. I still managed to get an uncensored "copy" though *cough* :p

Yeah. I remember that almost got banned here in the states. Even though it's old at this point, it's still a very brutal game. I never finished it but it even made me cringe at times and I'm not easily grossed out by a game, lol.
