-Igor Baksht was giving his 13-year-old niece a PlayStation 4 bybdke for Christmas

-He purchased a console at Walmart, where it retails starting at $399, and later opened it to find two bags of rocks

-The store he purchased it from was unwilling to exchange or return the console because they had no proof about the condition it was sold in

-Finally, a manager agreed to give Baksht the benefit of the doubt and exchange fake console

Interesting.  Do you think he's the victim or he's the culprit of putting bags of rocks in the ps4 box?

Uh, clearly he was. What most likely happened was someone bought it, took out the PS4 then put the rocks in to put weight to it. They then returned it for a full refund and Walmart not knowing put it back on the shelf. A friend of mine worked at Lowes. She said people did that all the time with paint. They'd buy it, use it and return the package with rocks.

when you say clearly he was, i think you meant clearly he was the victim.  i believe he was the victim too.

According to the story from the link:
Quote
The employee who assisted him at the store took the gaming console out of a locked cabinet and told him it was previously returned, Baksht told WPTV.

The associate mentioned to him the box felt heavy, but at the time Baksht felt there was nothing strange about that since he'd never bought one before and wouldn't know how much it weighs.

so, the employee said it was a previously returned item, so Igor bought a previously returned item and the associate which i believe meant the employee said it was heavy so that must have meant the someone put rocks in it when they returned it before Igor buys it.

So like you, I believe he is the victim and innocent on this one.
