Sony announced today that they\'re planning to begin taking preorders for their long awaited PlayStation2 racer \'Gran Turismo 3\' through their online store. Scheduled for release on February 15th in Japan, Sony plans to offer GT3 in two specific packages; with the racing controller and pedals for 16600 Yen ($159) or the game itself for 6800 Yen ($65). For reference, the associated racing controller will be available at Japanese retailers separately for 9800 Yen ($95).
