Hey Paul, have you ever considered using more contemporary game music for your birthday threads? So many amazing game soundtracks out there.

good question. unfortunately, i loss most interest in video games since summer 2002, so i haven't play much new games so i don't know if there are any good or great contemporary musics. how about you post some contemporary game musics whenever i made a happy birthday thread? i post old video game musics while you post new ones.

I suppose I can do that. But if you have Pandora, I'd recommend making a station titled 'video game music'. It'll put in a lot of video game and movie scores. I listen to that while I'm at work. It's great because you get a great mix of ambient as well as fast paced action music. Some good contemporary game music to check out is Skyrim, Mass Effect, Last of Us, Assassins Creed, and so on.

i just checked out pandora.com and after listening to about 3 video game musics. it asked me to sign up to continue listening to more musics. i don't feel like signing up.

Really? Just sign up. It's free and you get limitless amounts of music. You just have to listen to an ad once in a while. I listen to Pandora all day while I'm at work. It's phenomenal.
