This is NOT COOL the bouncer was pushed back to March!
http://ps2.ign.com/news/29157.html
Well, thats when Sony is kicking off it\'s world wide marketing push. MDK2 was pushed back also. I HAVE BOUNCER PREORDERED FOR JAN 11TH FUUUUUUUUUUCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
-
I heard this too. This one really pissed me off. Now all I have is timesplitters until next march. I might have to find something else to do with my time...
-
hehe, I posted the news before PS2IGN had it :)

"Our development team has set extremely high benchmarks for itself resulting in the delivery of games that will raise the industry\'s bar in the areas of graphics and gameplay. Whether consumers want a high-speed driving or action role playing experience, they will be blown away with these two titles."
Since when The Bouncer is an action-RPG???
Well dont feel to bad Ps2 fans, us DC owners have been going through the same problems all year with such games as rainbow 6 and Quake 3 delayed more than 3 or 4 times!!!
And like The Bouncer Phantasy Star Online is also going to be released in March after beeing originally planned for a late december release!
BTW when is mdk2 for Ps2 coming out???

Its always been a hybrid of Action/Fighting/RPG game. Its been billed that way from the get go.
-
I thought the game was like a Final Fight/Streets of Rage beat \'em up with cinemas! What are the RPG elements involved?
Astro

I dunno if I would trust that March date either.

It definetly has a story all be it not your typical in-depth Square story, as for other RPG elements I\'m not sure, they\'ve just always billed as a Action/Fighter/RPG. There\'s never been huge amount of info in regards to the Bouncer we should learn alot more since the Japanese version is released in the near future

I seriously doubt it will slip any further, the Japanese version was released this week.
March is going to be a crowded Month for the PS2.
-
Yeah, it looks as if March will be a good (and expensive!) month for PlayStation 2 owners. I just hope us Europeans don\'t have to wait too long for those games.
It\'s true that The Bouncer has RPG elements, though I\'m not sure exactly what part they play in the game.
-
Australia release date won\'t be much different from Euro...so if americans release date pushed back to...march......usually and generally like many games....we will getting our pal version around 1 months later....so pal version might be around april or may......darn......i hate that....except square release pal and ntsc version simultaneously.....but its highly unlikely.........
-
What a great decision from the one and only Sony/Square.
-
Time splitters? The only Ps2 games I have are Time Splitters and SSX (I will be able to play more when a mod comes out!) But look, there is always Oni at the end of januray.
Well I have a Dreamcast woth over 30 games, but I am getting quite bored with it (most of my games are imports because I got the dreamcast imported 8 months before it came to our shores) Sadly, I got Godzilla generations (ugh) and SonicAdventure which is GOOD

Animal Mother, I like your forum name.. Because I appreciate the movie.
But TimeSplitters, I heard that game sucked. I have not played it yet, so I don\'t have my own opinion on it. But if its good, I will grab it. I know this has been asked before, so excuse me. Thanks dood..
:D

DAMN! I was already planning on getting Onimusha, if it was still gonna be released in March, PLUS March is when my daughter is due!
Hmmmmm..... diapers, video games.....mmmmm.....PS2......
As someone else stated, March will indeed be an expensive month, in more ways than one!
As a side note: Kirath, Timesplitters is really cool, try for yourself and you\'ll see (read: rent it buddy! :D ).
Also, is RE:CV still on schedule to be released for PS2? If so, when?
-
Is this true??... no i think
-
Ahhh... I have beem in the UK for the last 10 days, and isolated from the internet. this is really surprising news that Bouncer is going to be delayed.
is the delay also affecting the Japanessze release? i think i remember the Jap Release sometime in mid-dec, when is the JAP release going to be???
THANX!!

Timesplitters is one of the best games out on PS2. You should definitely get it. I, too, was also a bit weary about the game cos I hated Goldeneye, but it truly is one of the best.
BTW, how many maps are there to play on in Arcade mode?
-
The Japanese version has already been released.
-
I find it interesting how Square pushed back the Bouncer\'s release because they\'re lacking in Q1 2001 games, and they didn\'t want to release 2 games in the same month. Why they didn\'t decide to put the Bouncer (a game that a lot of people are eagerly anticipating) out in Jan. instead of Type-S is beyond me.
-
hmm.... i guess that Square did this delay since there are not enough PS2s to go around to make huge sales for Bouncer in the US, as for JAP they have a decent number of PS2s at this time.. by march they can make a bigger Bouncer launch in the US. makes sense?
anybody knows how did bouncer do in Jap? i did not see it in the top ten or anything..
-
It\'s all Gameboy color and PSX on the top 10. The Video Game industry is heading into a recession in japan
