in your oppinions, what were some good games for the PS2 so far, and don\'t say summoner cause that game was plagued with bugs, I mean actually good games!

SSX, TTT, Madden. All of them are great games. But thats my list, give me six months and you will see how big that list grows. :D

Yeah see that\'s the piont I was trying to make I mean don\'t get me wrong I love my black beast but so far there hasn\'t really been GREAT games for it, IMO the launch titles were lacking a bit, but to be even more truthfull, I will never by any other system because I am very patriotic to Sony, because I have had stuff from nintendo and they didn\'t satisfy me and I also had stuff from MS, and all that did was crash on an almost day to day basis, so now I\'m using linix which may I say is a beautifull OS
but just wait, in six months I\'m gonna have a ten foot list of games that rock on the PS2

Yeh, but what good games did the N64 have when that came out, and the Dreamcast, come to mention it
And TimeSplitters is the best game for me at the moment

you see, I had my N64 for like 2 years and they still didn\'t make me happy, but when I got my PS within two days I had played 10 games that I likes and that made me happy, so you see, Sony IMO actually cares more about thegames then the power which is what it\'s all about IMO

Good games.
Tekken Tag Tournament.
SSX ( the one and the best )
Timesplitters ( funny and really good! )
there they are. Not much, but good for a launch, that is.
RRV isn\'t bad either, but it isn\'t one of the best.

Seriously, graphical flaws aside, I really liked the story and the side quests. Other than that I\'d say SSX.
Still nothing that qualifies as a system seller IMO.

Sky Odyssey is a good game and ssx is good.

SSX all the way man.
TTT and DoA2 are two pretty good games as well. TimeSplitters is also good.

madden is my favorite so far. but i am also having fun with unreal.

I\'ll probably get "booooed" off the board for saying this but in addition to the good games already mentioned I would like to recommend Eternal Ring. It was quite an enjoyable experience! Really!!

I havn\'t tried Eternal Ring yet but maybe I should seeing how you gave it such a good rating and all

I think Dynasty Warriors 2 offers a never before beatthemup plus strategy gameplay...many people has overlook it as a beat them up only game..but it is unique in its own right.
Currently im playing Eternal Ring...some people find this game very gross but i love that traditional Utima/King\'s Field style gameplay and that magic experimenting stuff is heck of a fun.

Am i seeing things here? Finally someone\'s else love Eternal Ring.
Where are you now?Have you past the village?...i thought initially when i first start playing this game...all the way the stage will be in a boring dungeon or a cave but when i finally see the village "Wow" i\'m immersed to the game!!
Compare to the original King\'s Field..its a big leap!
Anyway im in the Golem area trying to make that Fire Bomb magic and see how the enemy could take it...not to mention superb background music !!

I have actually completed the game. You are quite early into it from where you described. You are in for a real treat...the deeper into the game you get the more immersed you are going to be. Just wait until you start seeing the dragons...holy crap!
IT\'s great to see another Kings Field fan as well. I loved those games. I cannot wait until KF4 comes out for the PS2 next year.
Oh, yes the sounds and music in ET are terrific! Enjoy the game, it just keeps getting better and better. Some of the ring spells are super potent...especially the light and dark spells.

it\'s hard to be satisfied with any system at launch. I went through the same thing with the dreamcast launch. Right now I just using the time to catch up on psone games I missed(and ffix.I LOVE FFIX!!!.)

dynasty warriors and smugglers run are pretty good for right now

smugglers run is fun but only when you\'re playing on one player, cuz in two player its only you and the other driver and you just drive around trying to find the other guy (car).
its fun to hit the people though cuz they try to get out of the way you just run them over! lol

I won\'t even touch that one (Soul Calibur/Sonic Adventure/ House of the Dead 2..hmm..nah, they sucked.;) ..)
Good games.
TimeSplitters (excellent)
Gradius 3 & 4 (beyond excellent)
Tekken Tag (if you like Tekken)
RRV (good gameplay, bad graphics really)
Summoner (bugs? Yes. Story? Yup.)
