Notice how everything is being delayed till march, is something going on that we don\'t know about?
Opinions Please :)
-
Userbase will be considerable higher then.
Starwars Starfighter, The Bouncer will be released in the States probably won\'t see GT3, ZOE, Omniusha till late March or April
-
MDK2 was pushed back to march. That is when Sony is kicking off their big marketing push. FFX comes out then in Japan. Zone of the Enders, Shadows of destiny, ect ect. March is when the PS2 will be in full supply. Think of march as the "Games launch" October was the "DVD player launch"
-
think sony has some huge marketing campaing for these games?
thats why they are bunching them in one month?
or perhaps thats when they plan to ship a couple million ps2\'s to the US... who knows
-
Well, I\'ve paid off my credit cards, so I\'m ready. I can cram about $1000 onto it now. I AM READY FOR MARCH!!!
You like my new signature chrono?

I was thinking the same thing when The Bouncer was delayed, damn that news ****in pissed me off. The only new game I will be getting until then is NBA Live 2001. I need an Action game that will keep me busy.
-
Delays suck, but sega did the same thing after their launch... it\'s all to clear the waves of games for now in preperation for the big wave of games at E3. PS2 is gonna be solid as hell come E3 and I think it\'ll be Sony\'s strongest showing ever since they began making systems\\games.
On a totally unrelated note, aren\'t you 13 Animal Mother? My point is, if you\'re 13, how can you have a credit card? Just curious, unless you means your parent\'s credit cards.

March 2001 is the month were Sony gets the biggest advantage over Microsoft.
-
Seems a little silly putting all their eggs in one basket.
The PS2 was supposed to have a constant stream of good games, not a bunch coming out in a month! :)
-
Things will be cooled down by then, and most people will be anticipating even newer systems, the great games of march will be PS2\'s second serving...
-
maybe they are using the new development tools that sony sent them...for more improvements to their games? who knows...maybe they are lazy heheh
-
Or maybe they just want to piss people off like myself  Sorry, but I don\'t by the marketing campaign idea! Developers simply needed more time on a system that seems hard as hell to work with.
-
I don\'t think thats a good idea. Dreamcast did that in November, and alot of good games were overlooked. I mean, it\'s smart since most people don\'t have the systems yet... but they should space it out in March.
When\'s Twisted Metal Black and Ace Combat 4?
-
Ha!
I want to know when Silpheed will be out. Or Klona 2 (or whatever).
-
AHHHHHHHH yes TMB
-
Agh... all the good games coming in march!
I don\'t have ANY money left!!!
I\'ll have to wait for six months until I get more games... but it\'s ok, I\'ll have my SSX, Timesplitters and Rayman 2: Revolution to enjoy ( plus of course TTT and RRV ;) )
But still.. it\'s annoying!
-
That\'s the month where Sony seems to have been always basing their numbers on. They have always said everyone will get theirs by then. Outpost.com said I wouldn\'t get my pre-order till March. Then I of course said blow me and canceled...
Sony said they would have 1.5 million units by March.. Blah Blah Blah...
Sony\'s real launch will be in March. That\'s when some good games come out. Yahoo!> I can only play SSX and Madden for so long. I wish I could put Mike Alstot on a snowboard.
-
Wait, isn\'t march the last month for sony\'s physical year of net gain? Better to end on a high note then a low note? Or any note that\'s good for that matter? ^.^
-
Exactly, the Dreamcast did it and only the hardest of the hardcore bought all the AAA titles over the last 2 months. Most people would have just grabbed a couple, a few at most. Hell, I want them all but I only picked up JSR, Shenmue and MSR.
A re-launch thing seems a little pointless and if they do that, they\'re basically saying \'Our first launch sucked\'
-
to be honest I\'m glad they are being delayed caue this wya I can go to EB and get like 4 games that I haave been dreaming about and enjoy them all at once, it\'s times like this I\'m pruod to own a PS2
-
hmmm, it seems that IGN stole me thoughts GRRR
hehe

3 MILLION SYSTEMS??? man if that is the case then they must have caused the delay to build even more demand for the system.....
GT3,BOUNCER,ZOE,STAR-FIGHTER......PS2!!! man i can\'t wait for march:D

This is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard. The developers are actually going for this? Does any one else see the lack of logic in this. It is good for Sony but not necessarily for the developers. If they have a ton of good games out, Sony is going to get in the black because of royalties. Releasing multiple good games at one time limits the number of games one will probably sell. That is why Nintendo doesn\'t release Mario and Zelda games at the same time(even if they were able to) they will affect each others sales. And to have more than two good games is limiting sales even more.
