Title: HELP: PS2/DVD remote PROBLEM
Post by: on December 25, 2000, 11:04:29 PM
I got a remote for the PS2 for christmas with the adaptor that plugs into the slot for the controller and the thing doesnt work.  I put the batteries in and double checked to see if they were in correctly.  The controller works when using a movie, but the remote control doesnt.  ANy help or advice on what is goin on would be greatly appreciated.

YEH I BOUGHT A MAD CATZ PS2 UNIVERSAL REMOTE,
AND IT ONLY WORKS FOR PS2 STUFF, AND DID NOT WORK FOR MY VCR OR TV. I EMAILED MAD CATZ AND GOT A CRAPY AMWSER ,
LIKE I WAS STUPID OR SOMETHING.

On the left side of your keyboard, next to the \'A\' key, under the \'TAB\' key, above the \'SHIFT\' key is a key labeled "Caps lock". If you press that, it will turn your captial letters off. Try it ! :)

I have the madcatz remote and I love it.  It actually works with my emerson TV and Fischer VCR.  Not many universal remotes work with my TV.  There was a change to the instructions on how to program the remote for the TV and VCR.  It was a small loose slip of paper in the package.  You need to hold fast forward and rewind (top two buttons) instead of rewind and chapter back (from what I remember, I\'ll have to double check).  Hope this helps, it\'s a great remote.
