Title: When is the next big shipment of PS2s to america?

My brother wants one now, and I would just like to know when he can get one.  I\'ve been hearing March/April, what\'s the deal guys?

I will answer for you:

Expect more PS2\'s in Mid-January, but you should expect more on March 2001 when Sony relaunches the PS2.

ps2 in australia sold only half of shipment in the first week (30000) of (60000)

That\'s because they oversupplied in AUS while they undersupplied in the U.S. and initally in Japan.  

It\'s seems Canada also got an ample shipment.  I think I agree with Sony\'s decision: you can either piss off everybody or just piss off one region.  They couldn\'t fully meet demand for the U.S., even if they used all their units from Candada, AUS, and Europe.  So they might as well cut the U.S. short so they can make sure at the very least the Canadians and Aussies are happy.

Sony should\'ve pushed the Euro launch back till December and given the US of A the extra 160,000 consoles.  In fact, why aren\'t there more out there now?  I went into a store the other day and they were selling them.
