Title: Parental Levels
Post by: on December 26, 2000, 03:06:42 PM
Can someone tell me what the Parental Levels 1-8 stand for? I would guess they are similar to the movie ratings, but it would have been nice if Sony had told you in the owners guide what they are. Thanks

I believe 8 is the highest for us adults (r rating) 1 is like a G rating. It is kinda like my MTS Testing machine at work the higher the level the more you can do.

I doubt it because my Transformers: The Movie DVD (PG) is a level 8, and my T2: Ultimate DVD (R) is a level 4.  I wish I wouldn\'t have to put in my code every single time though :(

You don\'t just go into setup and scroll all the way up past 8 and switch it off...the setting will stay like that everytime you turn it on....thus the way it should be...OFF
