Title: Will Sony use Saddam Hussein situation as a marketing strategy for casual gamers.....
Post by: tHe GaMe on December 26, 2000, 05:31:37 PM
It would be a smart move if they do, just look at what they could come up with, for commercials.

Does anyone have any ideas how Sony would use the Saddam situation for good campaigning in March 2001 when the PS2 is relaunch.

Not a good marketing idea. Most of America doesn\'t like Saddam. If the general public took it wrong, it could be a horrible diaster for Sony.

It is a risk. It could go really good or really bad.
Sony won\'t risk it.

Racist. Last thing Sony needs is bad press for racism.
