Title: memory card

OK, I have had my PS2 since day one. I have 12 DVD movies for it but I only have one game. Tony hawk 2 for PSONE.
I just got the memory card. when I try to save data to the card, it replies, memory card not inserted in slot 1.
BUT IT IS. what the ****? does anyone know why? help

You need to use ps1 mem cards for ps1 games.
ps2 mem cards for ps2 games.

forget my first ?. but thats F**KED up. If it can play the game. you would think it could save the F**KING data.
well answer me this, could i use the old memory card to save. or is it impossible to save data from PS1 game on a PS2 console?

Yes you can use the old mem card on ps2 to save ps1 games.

The memory card for PSOne only works with PSOne games, you need a Memory Card 2 for your ps2 games.
