Title: I need a good game.....

Just got my PS2 for Christmas. I have just enough money for one game tommorrow. What should it be? I am looking at Unreal Tournament and Time Splitters at the moment. I was looking into the first person shooting genre, but if there is another good game in another genre. I would be willing to try it. I want good replay and multiplayer value. Also I want something that really takes advantage of the PS2\'s hardware. Thanks for the ideas.

TS or Midnight Club Street Racing, I play those the most out of my 6 games.

I recommend you rent a few games first. If you burn $50 and want to crap on the game you would kick yourself for it. I personnaly like Tekken Tag, and Madden 2001 is respectable. I\'ve also heard that Summoner is damn good also. Enjoy your PS2 and welcome to the forum!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :burn: :burn: (i love those)

I would get tekken tag or evergrace if you like RPGs.

i would definitely rent first, but if not ssx is great as is madden.
If you have alot of buddies timesplitters kicks ass. You can make levels to trick them and then blas the living sh!t out of them. My fav is to use one of the small 2 level pieces, then put a bunch of weapons and armor down there, Then make it look like there is a path out, but ... nope. They are trapped like a rat in a cage :D
