The New York Times today reported that Nintendo is in talks to buy Sega.
While the deal may still crumble, executives close to the negotiations told the paper that Nintendo could get its hands on the Dreamcast-maker for about $2 billion.

Both Sega and Nintendo spokesmen pooh-poohed the story, but executives told the Times that Sega Chairman Isao Okawa has been trying to unload the company for some time, and has even held talks with Microsoft.

According to the Times report, Sega lost $357.4 million last year, and ranks 13th in software sales, although its arcade business is thriving.

It\'s BS. There are so many falsehoods in the article that it doesn\'t need to be taken seriously.

What\'s up with Daily Radar, and all these supposedly reliable sites.  They are just trying to get a hit, there reporting isn\'t accurate this year.

I know. It\'s pretty annoying. I was thinking about the whole \'Sega will develope for System x\' **** a few weeks back. I thought about the rumors that never happened, and how many times ive been let down. Like with Dreamcast. Back in the day, Next Gen they had a huge list of games they were 99% sure were in development. Where are they? While some were surely scrapped, others were likely made up by them. Irresponsable journalists piss me off...
