Title: Problems playing DVDs on PSII?
Post by: on December 28, 2000, 09:05:38 AM
I have my PSII hooked up through a VCR (Based on reading some other posts, I now see that this may be my whole problem)

Still wondering, however, if anyone else is having these varying results when playing DVDs on PSII:

- screen alternates between dark, then fades to bright, then back to dark, and so on

- white lines appear in the screen

- picture is distorted in the upper half of the frame

Wondering if this is an isolated problem, or if I should exchange mine for a new one?

Thanks in advance for any information.

Your problem is:

It\'s hooked up to the VCR and not the TV, that\'s why it does that.

Some movies like Goldeneye don\'t enable the macro thing, so u might have only like 1 movie, Demon. If u do, then just test out other DVDs and you will see that it doesn\'t work.

That\'s probably a good idea.  I think I\'ll try that.
