PSOnline. The game looks insanely good. Early reviews of it getting perfect 10\'s and such, I think its worth ploping the money down for. Granted I hope Final Fantasy X is as good if not better than this one, but it looks like Sega will have some $ to be made this next year....

I like PSO, but I think Skies of Arcadia is better....maybe cause I cant use the online feature..:D The Sonic 2 demo is pretty cool too.
But definatly, buy a DC.
-
I suck at RPGs. But I remember playing Phantasy Star and just being amazed by it. SO I am eagerly awaiting the domestic release of PSO.
Buy a DC. Play it until March. And then play the excellent PS2 games or the GBA, which will be out!
:)

I may do that. Then again, I\'ll have to sign up for Sega Net to play online :(
-
No you don\'t.
AT&T and MCI both work fine with SegaNet online stuff.
Or if you have broadband, get the broadband adaptor NOW at eb or babbages.

You can also use Juno and NetZero etc for free online play.
-
Hmm,
not a bad idea I suppose. I could just go through my Verizon DSL and bam! =D
-
I been playing Quake 3 online since it came out and i live in Puerto Rico!!! I get almost lag free connections after midnight, i use caribe.net as my isp, and the DC\'s 56k modem, so i dont think anyone in the States should have any problems with online play on DC.
My recommendation: Go for it!!!! The only problem you might have after buying your DC is that buying games might become an addiction. Once you buy one of those weird Sega games, you can\'t resit to buy another and another and another...
BTW skies of arcadia, shenmue, grandia 2 and even silver and evolution 2 are DC RPG\'s worth checking out.

Ya, I\'m just trying to figure out if I can part with the dough or not. :D
-
I just finished Skies of Arcadia 3 days ago and now I\'m playing Grandia 2.
Both games are good so, if you do get a DC, go buy them.
-
how much is the broadband adapter anyway?
-
Huddy, if all you are interested for DC right now, and are skeptical about spending the dough, i suggest:
-Buy a DC (Get a Black Sports Pak, with NBA & NFL 2k) -169.99
-Buy Phantasy Star Online - 49.99
No need for SegaNet right away, PSO\'s online play is completely FREE!!! Yep, its free. :)

-
I believe the adaptor is 59.99 :)
Go get one!

I think PSO with online game is perfect and very good, but in the other hand I will enjoy very much with FFX. I´ve played PSO and it´s GREAT, but FFX will be great too without online game.
-
Not only can you get the Dreamcast for PS0, but you can get it for Half-Life, RE:CV, UT, Shenmue, SoA, Grandia II, NFL2k1, NBA2k1, and many others.

Adan,
Ya salio PSO en España? O lo importaste?
Astro
-
See I\'m actually thinking of waiting till it drops in price cuz I heard that its going to drop $50 here soon. Who knows though.
-
Sega wont drop the DC\'s price until fall when the Xbox release date get closer. BTW i think they are going to drop it to $129 not $99.
Adan, acabo de leer el ultimo "thread" en español. Me emocione leyendo sus comentarios de PSO. No puedo esperar a que llegue enero!!!!!
Phantasy Star rules!!!!!!
Astro

Just so you considering importing it know, PSO supports Japanese, English, German, French and Spanish right from the options screen, so language isn\'t a prob. Just letting ya\'ll know.
