Okay. :nut: Christmas has come and loving relatives, sympathetic to my gaming needs, have fixed me up with almost $100 worth of Toys R Us Gift Cards.  I also received a $50 gift card for Best Buy.  Along with that, I just received $50 worth of Geoffrey Dollars for Toys R Us from my VISA credit card.  But what games will I buy for my PS2?

Please tell me there are some GREAT PS2 games coming out in January!  Too many games are being pushed back to March!!!  I can\'t wait that long!!! :hold: I\'m gonna burst...I know it!!! :boom: Help!!!  Arrrrrgggggghhhh!!!!!!!!

Please list some games that are definites (and WORTHY) for a January release!  Muchas Gracias!

FYI, (sorry to list but just so you know...) I already own SSX, Madden 2001, Midnight Club, Smugglers Run, RR5, TTT, DOA2:HC, Fantavision, Nascar 2001, DW2, and Sky Odessey.  Again, for what its worth, I\'m not asking for a suggestion on current titles on the store shelves.  I\'m curious as to titles folks know are due to hit the shelves in January.

I\'m guessing that you are talking about Phantasy Star Online.

W1ngman, just play your games over... or buy a DC.

Anyways, you can play psx games if you don\'t want to buy a DC.

PHANTASY STAR ONLINE...... \'nuff said.

Dude if you dont have a DC i guess the best game coming out for Ps2 in January will be Mdk2 (unless of course it\'s delayed!).

Oni is coming ut in late January

and don\'t worry about Astro he\'s on his DC pedestal like always

NBA Live 2001, will come out, unless EA wants to join the relaunch with Square/Konami.  Then they will probaly delay it til March 2001, they have already delayed one title til March 2001.

Had a Dreamcast!  And loved it!  But since I was getting a PS2 (and my sisters were not), I gave them my DC as a Christmas present (along with a couple games).

I got that DC at a pawn shop for $80.  Bought in in June to tide me over until I could get my PS2 in Oct.  Think I\'m gonna make that move again, cuz its got just too many good games and I feel kinda stranded waitin\' on publishers to release their PS2 goodies in March.

PS.  Thanks for the (hopeful) heads up on Oni and NBA Live 2001!  And I used to like MDK...so I\'ll be interested in seeing what MDK2 becomes.

If you liked MDK then definetly check out Mdk2! Part 2 is so much better and you can play as 3 different characters (kurt ;the janitor,max ;the dog, and Dr. Hawkins ;the scientist) The game was released for PC and DC and both were excellent. The Ps2 version will include better control and a easier difficulty setting (the other versions are too damn hard!).
