Title: Who does or does not like the new icons.

If more people say they hate them..
I\'ll turn them off.

I\'m postive they will annoy me if people start abusing them and when I log in, I see a bunch of :paranoid: faces.

Otherwise, they don\'t bother me.

They are like smileys. Too much of one thing is never a good thing.

The fact that we have icons now, just lumps us together again with everything else. The funny thing is, is most of the newbies on here are the ones saying keep them :) Maybe they have been with other boards for too long! This is PSX2Central.com, not NintendoNation or UGO!!!!!

You seem to forget that mm, Bjorn and I are the ones that MADE this forum. Where the ones that keep it different too other boards. This board is different too other boards.
Different people. Different attitude. If you haven\'t noticed man, This is probley one of the most popular boards around. I doubt icons will drive people away, Thats abit ummm stupid. You can\'t ABUSE the icons.. You can only use 1 in a post. Most people use 2 or more Smilies in a post.. Does that mean i should turn them off. Come on.

Took alittle getting used to. NO big deal now though. The icons won\'t be a big deal soon either. Just another function, for those who choose to use it.

Some people (I won\'t give any names, but they are notorious for tdoingthis) will just have the smilie from the message icon and then put N/T for their message and wa la a new form of spamming the forum.

I know this forum is different from everywhere else, that is why I vote we do away with them, I think they are just annoying and take up even more space for my poor ole 56k to load up pages. Let\'s just say, I will be taking a silent stnad and never use a message icon in ANY of my posts or threads. :)

have your Cache enabled. That way u have the icons on your com already.. You should have them now anyway.. There not huge man.

I hardly think I qualify for being a newbie and I say leave them on - but then again, I don\'t have to use a modem. But if they\'re in your cache (and being as small as they are) I don\'t think they\'ll take long to load. But I guess it\'s a mood point. :)

I didn\'t count people that said they hate them, But don\'t really care for them. I only counted the people that said they HATE them and can\'t stand them, Aswell as the people that said they want them too stay.. On 4 people said get rid of them.
