I mean, we\'ve seen GT3 and MGS2 and a whole other bunch of games that look fantastic, but how much better can they get?
How many poly\'s are these games pushing- could you give me estimates?
and
Do you think in a couple generation of PS2 games we\'ll be playing stuff that looks better.....or MUCH better. Either way, at least for me, MGS2\'s graphics are the best I\'ll ever want. Anything better just..well, it doesn\'t matter. You won\'t be able to tell a (major)difference, will you?

I think MGS2 uses aprox. 50% power of the machine... I think

PS2 games are going to increase in quality along the same lines as the first PS games did, from gen 1 on through.
This is incredible considering that alot of the games on PS2 look awesome to begin with!! I\'ve been playing Madden for about 2 weeks now, and I STILL boggle at some of the graphics.
No doubt about it, PS2 will improve greatly on its graphics, and that is an incredible thing, considering what we have now!!
It will look MUCH better! Just look at what PS1 did with its graphics!
-
I have read that the games will have a much greater graphical leap between first second third ect gen games that ps one did
-
Look at Ridge Race (the first one) for the PSX... and they said, it would use 50% of the PSXs Power !
Then look at Gran Tourismo 2 !!!
Any questions...?! :D

SWEEEEEEEEETTTT!!! Now, all I need is to get a couple paychecks and find a PS2!!

Personally not so much; but not one console is perfect. None.
I won\'t list those negative thoughts wich could and should be repaired ( and maybe will ). For graphics I\'m perfectly happy with PS2. But it\'s the games :)
Looking good yes.
But remember. No console is perfect.
Personally PS2 is the best one for me.

Also they thought Tekken2 used 70% of the PSX1 power but after checking with the Performance Analyzer they found out it only used around 30-40% of it.

There is still one think I havent seen on the PS2.Something that can be done on the VRAM only.Random Textures.
