Title: Anyone ever been close enough to play games with another member ?

Seeing that there are getting to be quite a few members here, it is entirely possible that some of us might live right down the road from each other. So I was just wondering if anyone here has been close enough to ever get together with another member.

As for playing other forum members, I do it all the time. :) Mostly people from the tekken zaibatsu forum. I must have met over 75 people by now due to that place. I remember spending nights over at peoples\' houses from time to time. The craziest story is talking with a forum member on IRC, then driving over 1.5 hr to pick him up and play him at the local mall in Annapolis, MD. I never even met the guy before, but this is Tekken we\'re talking about here! :D

My friends just got back from the North East Champioships (TTT & MvC2 were played) which was in Philly. My buddy Will placed 2nd and won over $100, but he should\'ve gotten 1st. :boom: We also travel all around the east coast, namely nyc; Dunellen, NJ; Newport News/VA Beach, VA; all around MD, and most recently Atlanta, GA. Can\'t wait for ECC 6 (east coast championships) coming up, which is expecting players from California to fly in. All this would not be possible without internet bulletin boards.

Aaron & w1ngman- I actually went to Richmond several times for Tekken gatherings. One of which was the VA Tekken regional tournament back in 99. Any of you go to that?

Ahhhh the wonders of ubb, irc, and mapquest. :)
