For me it must have been either The Blair Witch Project or House on Haunted Hill. I watched them alone at night - in darkness. Really scared I was. Little shocks going trough my little crooked spine... My green skin turned chicken...
Heart Attack close was. Joyda alive; Joyda happy.
-
I really don\'t get that scared when I watch horror movies I just enjoy them.
My fav\'s would probly be Braindead and Evil Dead 1 and 2.
-
Even though it\'s not scary to me now, it\'s Event Horizon.
-
I really don\'t get scared. I was raised with a parent who thought it was cool to play dead. Or hide for hours at a time and then jump out . So, I\'m "immune" to those things. As for scarey movies. I was raised on them. Even have a big collection of them.
So, I go for the one that is the most twisted and makes you think.
And the winner is....
The Shining
:)
-
The Shining is a good one. Another good one that still gives me the creeps is watching the original \'Alien\'. Nothing like that scene with Harry Dean Stanton looking for that (stupid) cat in the ship..
"Come and play with us Danny.
Come and play.
Forever,
and ever,
and ever.."
-
Hellish movies scare me and my friend Ralph Wiggum. I watched it with him and his dad and Ralph said "I\'m scared Daddy, too scared even to wet my pants." and then his dad said " Just relax son and it will come."
Go download 70 Ralph Wiggum sayings on Napster. It\'s funny :D

Hands down The Excorcist. That movie was pure evil and there were reports of people running out of theaters screaming when the movie was first released in the 70\'s. That movie still horrifies people today & it\'s about 30 years old which is pretty amazing. I haven\'t seen the sequels, are they much scarier?
House on Haunted Hill was surprisingly freaky also.

I think that is classified as Child Abuse.
As for movies I haven\'t really been scared by a movie since I was about 7-8 years old. I saw the exorcist when it was re-released and could not stop laughing. Was that really considered scary at one time. You guys were soft.
-
I saw Exocrsist some time ago on limited edition DVD and Ï gotta say that it was good but not so scary. It was surprisingly good anyway.
The Shining is very good movie ( the older version ); Jack Nicholson is perfect for his role of lunatic Father. But it wasn\'t that scary either.
Let me add that I usually don\'t get scared by scary movies but those times when I watched those two special movies I talked about was something special. Blair Witch Project was pure panic. It was so scary because it was SO REAL. And I was alone at house, in the dark. ( Heh, maybe I\'m a little soft then :) ) - And that hellish House on Haunted Hill... It scared me to bits because you really got shocked sometimes.
-
i have to agree and say that The Exorcist was the scariest movie - specially by your self in the dark at the age of 10
Ohhh how an imagination can run.
Never ate pea soup again.

I understand :D
Jacob\'s Ladder is quite freaky too; especially the ending -shock--
The Stigmata is also quite good and scary.
-
meh...nuthin truly scary for me.
I think I was more scared going into the theater to see
The Blair Whitch Progect then I was coming out. Seeing how it was SOOOO hyped up
-
THX:
I agree with you about the exorcist.
But i love to watch Night Of the Living Dead...those zombies are so mysterious...and one more Pet Cemetary...that kid who got ran over by the 18 wheeler and comes back to life again only as a freak.
American Werewolf In London plus the original Howlings...grusome feasting scene.
Salem\'s lot: The scene when the old man trying to nail the corpses but those vampires around him already waken up .
-
Of the scary movies I\'ve seen, What Lies Beneath comes in to mind first. It was so damn creepy. Great movie. Made me jump higher than human physiology normally permits.
Lately I\'ve been most scared of Silent Hill. Yeah it\'s not a movie but might make a nice one... :)

Join the darkside I won\'t. This some big trap is. Feel it in my bones I do.
Who thinks Teletubbies are scary?
They can bore you to death... what a painful and slow death.
Oh and I almost forgot; Entity is a good and scary movie. I remember when Halloween -movies were scary. They\'re still good splatter fun.
Anyone seen Bad Taste? ( The movie requires Bad Taste to be undestood :) )
-

Braindead... I haven\'t seen it ( yet ) but I\'ll keep it under my big green ear. Thanks.
I like Splatter -movies ( some ); I like Peter Jackson\'s movies too. Heavenly Creatures is best but it will meet its match... The Lord of the Rings -trilogy!
-
Nothing scared me like \'What lies beneath\'!! I was so scared I cried and screamed! Usually I\'m courageous! My bf was so scared too he had to sit on my lap.
-
Someone else mentioned it but Salems Lot by Stephen King scared me bigtime when I was younger. Vampire films have always been my favorite and nobody was scarier than Christopher Lee in the old Hammer Films Dracula films.
Present day the only movie that gave me the willies was Event Horizon, I almost had to turn off the dvd at one point  I\'ve seen it several times since and it doesn\'t bother me anymore :) Hellraiser had the same effect on me..maybe It\'s the gruesome way they kill in those films that gets to me where as in the older films they didn\'t use gore so much but built up the tension and then jumped at you from the shadows :sconf:
-
he had to sit on your lap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dont you think it should have been the other way around?
heh heh heh
-
hmmm... Entity was quite scary.
That movie where a poltergeist raped a woman over and over again... It was SCARY AS HELL to say the least..
now I\'m afraid to go to the bathroom to have a shower :)
-
hmm, I watched too many scary movies when I was a kid. Soem that freaked me the most:
It (miniseries from Stephen King!)
Event Horizon
Sometimes They Come Back (another stephen King!)
Thats about all that scared me as a kid.
