Title: PS2 Game in a PS1 system?
Post by: Kimahri on January 02, 2001, 01:07:39 AM: I was talking to this guy in a chat room, and he said that he put a ps2 game in his ps1 system and it screwed up his ps1 and it doesn\'t work anymore. I don\'t think this is true wouldn\'t it just say something like "can not read disk" or something. What do you guys think?

One weird d00d told me that his PS1 could play PS2 -games. I had a laugh. How wrong he was... but how much he fought back with his statement - what a fool.

Post by: Black Samurai on January 02, 2001, 01:13:52 PM: I put a PS2 in my N64 and played "Shenmue 2". The only problem was that there was no sound and the picture was covered by static. But I am sure it was Shenmue. Although it could have been Pac-Man.

I don\'t know what kind of problem your friend was having but it musta been something else. You just gotta hit your head against a brick wall several times and then insert the disc. Then it works fine :)

Playstation CD\'s do a good job at being frisbee\'s too. I haven\'t tested Ps2 discs yet :)

I\'m 99.99% sure I couldn\'t shove a GameBoy up my @$$ - not that I have tried of course. ;)

BTW, my PS2 can play C64 games. Don\'t ask me how.

Hmmm.. I haven\'t tested it either but my logical mind says that it\'s possible.

Oh and I can play games with my PS2. Every time it loses it freezes the next game on me. Wonderful Emotion Engine :rolleyes: Pah-tetic :)

Umm Jeff.... I kicked my PS2 but it didn\'t split into 3, what should I do? One thing was new is that I got a whole new game after I kicked it, even without inserting any PS2 CDs!!! I think I\'ll name this game... "Antz" since I\'m the one who found it :p . Why I call this game "Antz" ? \'Cos when I turn the PS2 on, a lot of black dot-shaped ants filled a white background and moving very very unaccordingly, I\'m still trying to figure out how to play this game :D
