Title: NHL2001 Question

I have checked through the manual and can\'t seem to find out how to deliver hip checks.... Does anyone know how? Thanks alot for the help.

when the guy is moving head strieght towards him and press triangle, i works everytime unless they use spin or deek

When you press triangle does that not deliver a huge crosscheck tho? even when they head straight towards you? Thanks for the help anyways. (maybe i am wrong tho)

I always press triangle to check and get alot of penalty min but it doesn\'t amtter. THE GAME SUX BECAUSE I PLAY ON ALLSTAR AND STILL WIN 11-4. (I did the caps on purpose because this game gets me so mad its like wayne gretskyz 3D hockey, the scores are always in double digits. I hate ite, is there any way for me to lower the scores??

I don\'t think it\'s possible to not score a ton of goals in NHL 2001.  The game\'s too easy, but there are some things you can do like play with a crappy team, use the advantage boost on the other team... stuff like that.

As far as hip checks, I seem to remember seing a nice fat ass controller configuration screen that tells you what all of the buttons are.  Maybe you could go check that out?  If that doesn\'t show hip checks, I\'m thinking it\'s one of the shoulder buttons.
