So what are your thoughts on the design. Judging by the controller it looks like they have copied all game controllers known to man :D

Dual Sticks - Sony Type
Buttons - Nintendo 64 Type
DPad - From what it looks like in the pic a Sega Saturn Ripoff.
Handles - N64 Type.

Quite impressive at the least. Not bad design, looks like a set top box. But with sony kicking arse as we speak, lets see how good it does this fall in america.

Ill be importing no doubt. Unless i move to america if all goes to plan then I can line up 4 it. If required.

Oh, and go back to 1999 when sony released the first pic of the ps2 and people saying how shocking it was visually(casing and all). How does xbox compared ?

As for the design I think it kicks. The controller look amazing IMO. That is the only controller that I have ever looked at and said "WOW that looks really cool". To me it looks like a sleek GCN controller. I don\'t see any resemblance to a Sega Saturn other than the color. It looks really good in my opinion.

The machine then... well, that isn\'t very clear picture so I can\'t tell 100 prosently but let me just say that I wasn\'t surprised. Something I expected.

Now that I have looked at it again it does look a lot like the DC controller. But thats cool \'cause the DC controller isn\'t THAT bad.

Couldn\'t ms come up with a more original looks rather than sticking all the consoles together using a pc and seeign what it looked like?
I am very disappointed to be honest and there is no way i am gonna be forking out money on something with looks like a toaster tipped on its side.

Post by: nO-One on January 03, 2001, 02:11:48 PM: You can\'t see alot of the console on the pic.The controller looks like the bastard child of a dc and a psx controller and a little n64 in there and having the analog stick above the D-pad is a NGC ripoff.And the green bubble thingie in the middle is absolutly horrable.But it might be OK.
But I won\'t pass judgment based on one blurry pic.I\'ll just wait till we get better pics to pass jugdement.:)
