I went back to the shop coz SSX had a nice big round scratch on it. so i told the guy that i put the disk in the PS2 and nothing happend, it diddn\'t even boot. (bull)
so he had a look at the disk and noticed the scratch and said, \'um i dont think that is normal\' and had to get another disk to check that EA SPORTS dont normally send their games with nice large round scratches. LOL
In the end he just swapped the game no questions asked
God they are dumb!!

hmmm, and how do u think this scratch got there?

I bet in the interview for the job they ask,"so do you play alot of videogames","no not really i dont like videogames","fine the job is your!"
But anyway i went into electronics boutique yesterday, and asked when the bouncer is coming out(uk) and he told me march which is all well, but then he started going on how it is a movie which you just press a few buttons every now and then?He said it is like shenmue, what the hell is he talking about,i left the store after that.

hmmm... the clerk wich you spoke with, Ethan, didn\'t know what he was talking about, I think :)
or then the clerk imagined that the game will be like he/she told you...
jerk clerk... very weird :)

I\'ve been thinking of asking the local Musta Pörssi if I could work at their videogames department. About time they got someone there who knows something about games. They know I know my games and I\'ve also helped them sell some in the past (and have helped many people not to get disappointed with crappy games, but really, if someone truly wants to buy Superman 64, go on ahead). But why, jerk clerks everywhere! Eeek!
-
Good luck, Hawke. I truly hope you\'ll get that job because you know what you\'re speaking about :)
Hmm... you don\'t post a lot these days...
You would bring hope to the large legions of Jerk Clerks, you will be the cleaner of their name, leader of their fame... lets see if you success in your mission, the Great Hawke :)

I\'m currently too busy with school, with my finals coming up and all. I should cut down on everything possible and consentrate on studying now... bah. And FFIX comes out just when I should be intensely studying dull facts. Noooo! And then it\'s off to the army for me, I\'ll miss 6 months of gaming. Most of all, I will miss this forum though... no, this comes second, I\'ll miss SmallLady the most.... :(
-
Hmm... studying takes time yes :)
Well, good luck with your finals and I hope you get the strenght for it...
And the longer you must be without SmallLady the nicer it is to see and love again :)

So you are ragging on the clerk who took your disc back for you? Based on what you told him, "That your disc never worked and came like that." What was he suppose to do? Personally I would have seen right through your crap and made you grovel like a weasel before I gave you the new game, but you would still get the new game. Heck, they just send it back and get credit anyway.

Thw guys at my local babbages are very helpful, and it seems like they know what they are talking about.
Plus they are very understanding of me bringing back like every game i buy at least once!
But the EB folks are a different story. I am sure alot of people here have had problems with the eb crew

Videohollic I am baggin the store clerk cos he was so dumb not that he gave me another copy!
I just think that if you are gonna work in a computer games store you should know about computer games!
:thepimp:

ya know.
its the ignorance that makes me mad

well I dunno about all these jerk clerks but the people that work at the places I buy games know what the hell they\'re talking about they are always talking about games. they always make comments on games you buy to(no negetives as far as I\'ve heard). they are the few the proud the gaming clerks.
