Title: demo disk anyone...?
Post by: CPLesane on January 06, 2001, 09:36:41 PM
i have yet to get my demo disc, but psx underground had the nerve to send me a holiday gift guide for playstation2.  this tells me they\'re well aware of my purchase, but yet keep my demo disc all for themselves...

anyone received a disc yet?

i am finally buying a new computer monday.  finally i get to play "the sims" for days (yee-ha) that game is a masterpiece :D

i\'m going from an ancient 133 mhz, 28.8, 32 ram 4 gigs to 1.1 ghz, 256 ram 60 gigs and a 56k of course.

i realize most of you have upgraded long ago, but i plan to be blowed away (there\'s going to be a huge diff.) plus now when a new game is released i can actually buy it.

what\'s the best graphics card for around 300?

oh and 15" upto 17" monitor:D
i\'m so excited...

All that horsepower and a 56K? No broadband in your area or is it not economically feasible for you? (actually the costs are not exactly perfect for me, but I am addicted to my cable connection), regardless - you have one heck of a powerful machine, and a very very yummy double scoop chocolate sundae sized hard-drive.
