If i bought a game from usa (online) and i put it on me pal AUSTRALIAN ps2 would they be awight or do i need euro version?

u need pal version games to be played on aussie PS2 (PAL), US version is NTSC...so u cant play it on ur aussie PS2...at all with the exception of modchip being installed but no perfect modchip exist out there and i wouldnt recommend you buying and installing one anytime soon....wait at least till middle of next year/the end of next year.....

PS: Do u know if there is online store which sell game a bit cheaper...especially in NSW?

American games will not work on Australian Systems. Only when a full mod comes out then you can.

After paying $729 Australian Dollars for the system, I doubt I will ever mod it.

The chip wouldn\'t make the ntsc game viewable on a pal system.

I think it will yes.

It happened with the original psx. But the ps2s protection is much tougher.
