Title: The PS2 demo disc has finally arrived???

I think that this guy is lying but if it is true i cant wait until i get my ps2 demo disc. I wont believe it until he scans the disc and games as proof.

Post by: Ashen Victor on January 10, 2001, 03:30:49 PM: i\'ve seen the same post at the ign boards. it\'s plain ridiculous. those morons there flock at anything that seems plausible. supposedly, sony hasn\'t sent out the demos because of the lack of systems. they want to concentrate more on shipping more systems and then get the demo discs out.

Post by: on January 10, 2001, 04:48:53 PM: There was a little form in my PS2 box that said "FREE PS2demo disc" so i filled it out and sent it away about 2 weeks ago. Didnt anyone else get this form in their PS2 box?

Updated DVD drivers? Maybe a fix to those nasty DVD problems people are having?

Look at the picture... Why can\'t we see the CD? We can only see the part that says \'PlayStation 2\' - it\'s probably just some other PlayStation 2 game. The cover is just made in Photoshop and printed out on a colour inkjet. I don\'t believe this for one second.

Well, if it\'s true - then you\'re lucky.

But I wouldn\'t count on it. It just screams \'FAKE\'.

Plus no one else has come out and said they received it yet. How come one guy gets it and the rest of us are standing there wondering what happend..?? crap if you ax me..

It\'d be a great move from Sony, they\'d get people really hyped up about everything. It all goes with their March re-release plan. If the people who already got a PS2 receive this kinda demo discs, they\'re sure to hype up the machine to their uneducated friends and get them in the frenzy too.

I remember the demo disc I got when I sent the same kinda leaflet to Sony from my PSX\'s package. The CD was a waste of time. And it had the most annoying promo video I\'d ever seen (Crach Bandicoot 2).

Now I\'d like to see the CD with the covering, the back of the CD-cover, the demo-disk running etc. etc.

Seeing is believing.

Just not in this case. Too little evidence of its true existence. Case closed.

Post by: KillaX on January 14, 2001, 05:58:40 PM: I tossed mine away...I get the PS Undergorund (which will now have 1 disk for ps2 only and one for PS)and that is all the demos I need plus I subscribe to OPSM....Hope I dont miss out on DVD driver patches.....
