As anyone who has read my other post knows i am gettin a dolby digital reciever. I have unfortunately yet to have the pleasure of hearing the difference between dolby digital and pro-logic. I also know about the discreet channels and equal power to all 5 speakers, but my question is this... How much of a difference is it ? I\'m hoping alot cause my system already sounds pretty good, and I just went and got a new center and surrounds today as well.
thanks

I want home theater soo bad, you\'re so lucky

the difference is striking
the best example i show my friends when they come over, is the hallway scene from "the matrix" when neo goes to rescue morpheous. u can hear the bullits recocheting all over the room, and hear the shells hitting the floor. another good film to demo is "perfect storm". you can discretly hear the waves as they roll around the room.

Hey mm, your not the first person that told me about that seen in the matrix ! My buddy has it and he has told me on several occasions how awesome that seen is. In regular pro logic its nothing special at all.. well time to go buy the matrix tomorrow hehe. Now if only my damn reciever would get here :-(

another great scene in that film is when neo is in helicoptor shooting mini gun, and he rips down the floor in a straight line. u can close yer eyes and "hear" the bullets hiting down the one side of the room, and then the other.

I suggest watching the re-mastered Star Wars. It\'s what all them channels were made for. Sci-fi rules.
