Finally Ps2 games are starting to take over the top 10. Ps2\'s main competition is the original PSX and the Gameboy color! Check out this article!

"The latest charts out of Oricon and Yahoo-Japan contain some good news for PS2 owners. Two new PS2 games have entered the list and join The Bouncer and Mobile Suit Gundam in making the PS2 dream come alive in Japan.
Topping this list is none other than Space Venus Starring Morning Musume. This create your own video video game stars one of the hottest J-Pop groups around and makes use of some sort of new camera technology developed within Sony. See this story for more on the game.

Also entering the list is Sagashi ni Ikouyou, SCE\'s second RPG following Dark Cloud. The game didn\'t get the highest ratings in the Japanese mags, and it has no J-pop affiliations what-so-ever, so we\'ll have to see how long it actually stays in the list.

I am going to go ahead and disagree with this article. It is highly laughable that neither DC or PS2 games can hold up the top ten for more than 3 days. It seems like Japan is having a hard time letting go of the past! :)

In fact, I am going to go ahead and say that 3 of those titles will drop out of the top ten by Monday or Tuesday, at least.

That is great news!, I hope ps2 will catch up in Europe and US too!

I just bought the new EGM to see their "eXclusive" story on the X-Box and I realized that every time I buy EGM Pokemon (Red/Blue--Yellow--Gold/Silver--Crystal) are the number 1 and 2 sellers. This goes back to \'99. I don\'t read every month but when I do this strange phenomenon occurs.

Sega have started to take out a big share of the European Market due to sonys troubles.

Hopefully sony can recoupe and take the market.
