Law has just passed that Sony can go after sellers of illegal Pirated games. Markets and resellers can be fined up to 25,000 australian dollars.
Australia is considered to be one of the biggest piracy markets.

They should do that in Indonesia, Hong Kong and Malysia there r almost no non-pirated games there
here in singapore most the pirated software guys have been arrested in the last few months

This won\'t change anything. Piracy is illegal full stop. People still do it. Sony searching for people won\'t change anything. People will just be more careful selling them. You see. You can stop people selling them. But good luck stopping people from copying them. I\'ve said it once i\'ll say it again. There is no way too stop piracy. If it can made. It can be copyed or beatin.
In other words. If a company can make a game, Then someone can copy it. If a company makes a system. Then someone can mod it. That will never change. If a company can burn the product themselfs, Even if they use master burners. There is someone who will figure out how too beat any copy protections a cd has. To do it themselfs.
I don\'t think it is right for a company too make a game so u can\'t back it up. That is just crap. I buy a lot of games. I want too be able too back them up. Then store the orignals in my roof. So they won\'t get stolen or damaged.
Companys stopping people from pirating is good. But at the same time. There stopping people from backing up there software and that sux.

Yeah Piracy will never stop. But hopefully slow down at a selling point.
Ozisoft dont do jack for people selling dreamcast copies in the tradingpost(Hopefully shifting more dreamcast units in oz). Hopefully sony can do it for themselves !
