Alright, I just heard something very discouraging. I went to check out some hardware, and asked the guy when MGS2 will be coming out. He told me that MGS or the company thats behind the game is annoyed with the way Sony is handling the gamers, etc. They dont like the fact that there still aren\'t enough PS2s to go around. They were suppose to have 1.5mil by Oct.26th, then New Years, but that didn\'t happen either. So, according to him, MGS will no longer be on PS2. He said he found that out a while back and the game will now be called MGSX, for the goddamn XBOX, whose specs dont look too bad mind you. Anyway, I think its a bunch of BS since I\'ve seen screen shots from the game thats being developed for PS2, anyone else care to comment? If that seriously happens, I will be thinking about switching over since that was one of the main reasons I bought PS2, that and GT3. Oh, one last note, he also said that after EA SPORTS is done with their current projects, they will also leave PS2 for the XBOX, which is also bunk. I think that guy was full of ****, but who knows, most of the time the guys who work at Electronic Boutiques know a crap load about stuff like that.

MGS.2 will be on the Ps.2 and Konami is developing MGS.X or something like that for the X-Box.
And you can rest assured that neither Konami nor EA will be leaving the Ps.2

Don\'t worry, MGS2 is still coming and EA\'s said to be already making SSX2 and other games :)

It\'s because they\'re in the retail business, and most of them work in a mall. I don\'t know if you\'ve ever had a job working in the mall before, but I have and the people that work in malls are frought with rumor laden speech. They\'re also (in general) the most dispicable back stabbing and clique/elitist pigs on the planet.
Beware mall employees, the microcosm that they work in warps their minds and turns them into evil robots.

HEY! I used to be an employee at EB and I consider myself very knowledgeable.
BTW, SSX:SE(Special Edition) is coming to the GCN. I think maybe the PS2 also. Sometime this Christmas according to EA.

Sorry Gohan, I wasn\'t targeting all clerks with that comment. It\'s just that more often than not they seem like they\'re carrying a grudge against one company or don\'t know what they\'re talking about (one over here advertised the PSX to an old couple looking for a console for a grandchild as a 64bit überconsole. Nothing wrong with that, but then he went on about the millions of polygons the machine could shift about. Ahem. Another one referred to DreamCast as a "Useless piece\'o\']bleep[") Annoying.

Hmmm.. don\'t worry. MGS2 is PS2-exclusive; a game only us, the Ps2 owners, can enjoy.
Lets sing for that...
Be positive. I think MGS2 will be something revolutionary, and we can still show it to MS-fans when MGSX is coming out saying: "We\'ve got the BETTER MGS!!!". Or that\'s what I hope :) Everything can go wrong... But like I said, be positive.

yeah right, like KONAMI: lets spend a lot of money on making a game, already have a demo ready for it and then cancel it, geez, how can you even not be sure that stupid **** is full of bull****, where the hell did that lame mother****er get that information anyway, I see no other option but to shoot the guy, people like him simply have to die,errr well maybe not, but it\'s still ****ed up, just like my fragile little mind........
forget this post, it\'s getting a bit out of hand, I guess that\'s what happens if they shut down the forums for too long

Yeah, thats what I figured. Didn\'t think that Konami would through away MGS, especially since they started it for PSX in the first place. I\'ve worked at the mall before, at an ice skating rink, and yes, it is true that some people are bastards and dont have a life, but for the most part, if they work in EB, that means they love video games and electronics/computers in general. Thanks for the input though, I\'ll definitely stick with PS2.
