Title: napster replacements?

i have yet too install any of these, but here\'s a couple leo on "call for help" (techtv) suggested.

leo leporte - "The classic napster replacement is Gnutella"

ive been told to try Gnutella too but i have yet to try it. let me know what you think of it.

Try iMesh I really don\'t like Gnutella.
But like Gnutella iMesh can download anything programs mp3\'s video\'s etc...

Be carefull of some of these programs. I downloaded a program like these before and it installed a Trojan Virus.
Make sure you scan your harddrive with a virus checker or something like lockdown, to see if your machine has been infected.
I, in no way know if there is a virus in either of these products and i doubt there is, i just feel that you should be cautious.

I\'ve tried Gnutella but it doesn\'t work too well I think.

Another good way of getting mp3s, videos etc is a program called Direct Connect - try it out, you can find lots of excellent things with it. :)

I mean.. I\'ve found everything I was looking for. Really great program!

I heard Napster was going to start charging $$ in June.  Any truth to that?

the reason im trying to find a new prgram is because napster IS gonna start charging people to use it. i dont know when but it is coming.
