Title: Anyone else think rockstar is overated ?

I can\'t understand why everyone thinks this developer is so awesome? None of their titles impressed me at all and oni was downright ugly.
smugglers run was boring, and midnight club wasn\'t the prettiest to play either and now gta 3 looks to be another ugly game as well. IMO these guys are highly overated lets hope they can make test drive wide open a good game.
p.s. rockstar if your listening.. you better not mess up the worlds first and greatest off road vehicle the jeep wrangler in that game !!!! ( well i should say jeep convertible but i digress

eh...your wrong

Oni was by bungie
GTA3 is by DMA design

and smuggelers run was a great game to show of the power of ps2, big open enviroments DC could not do

sorry the rockstar logo must be throwing me off. Are they just the ones who published some of the games ?

Rockstar Games don\'t develop all the games themselves - they publish them. But I do think most the games they have made and/or published have been rather good; perhaps not the very best, but certainly not the worst either.

Angel Studios are the devs for smuggler\'s and midnight

Bungie did get bought by Microsoft, yes.  That is why Halo is going to be on the x-box before the PC.
