Title: Xbox=3DO?

In a small section of Famitsu devoted to reader opinions, one 20 year old gamer said that "I can\'t be the only one who is reminded of the 3DO when I look at the Xbox." It must be noted that the 3DO doesn\'t have the best of images in Japan. There\'s a certain uneasiness about the Xbox as well here. Japanese gamers tend to feel that there\'s not enough to draw them to Microsoft\'s console, even with Japanese developer support -- why get the Xbox when you can play the same games plus Sony/Nintendo exclusives on the PS2 or Gamecube?

nah.....I dont think that the xbox will be the 2nd 3do, the 3do was waaay too expensive with too little good games, but the xbox won\'t do well in japan, it\'ll do ok in europe and good in the us

btw did u know that there is a rumor that the japanese xbox launch is delayed till 2002

X-box will be first launched in USA and europe, then Japan. Or at least it\'s a rumour; yes I\'ve heard it :)

It would be right for those japaneses for even once wait longer than us... but I think they\'re eagerly waiting the GameCube than X-box; Japan has always been the land of Nintendo...
