The company has been working on the port since April of last year, when the first received Sony development tools, and have been working feverishly to get the most out of the complicated, but very powerful, PS2 hardware. Half-Life fans who pick up the PS2 version can expect improved special effects, with more debris, smoke and fire, more detailed background environments, and character models with a higher polygon count and more detailed textures :D

i play counter-strike on the PC and if the multiplayers are anything like that then.....man

Well, I for one ( as a serious HL -fan ) will buy the game for sure; just to see how much uplifting the game has had and what the extras are...
and of course cooperating with a friend trough half-life\'s story-mode always interests...

please someone relase a TFC addon for the PS2 please or TF2 with BOTS that will do me just fine.
oh and i think the PS2 can do with a good go at Counter strike too :D.

Gearbox Software has just sent IGN the first two screenshots of their PS2 version of Half-Life, and the results of their labor are looking quite impressive:)

They\'ve tampered with the monsters it seems. Added some fangs & stuff. Even freakier than before. Looking very good :)
