hmmm... those are quite bad pics but thanks anyway :)
Well, they\'re the first so I am expecting those graphics improve as well...
I\'m quite interested about the game; it\'s out on PC already. Just I\'d like to read some reviews...
-
The IGN article (with which these pics came too) said that the PS2 version will have more detailed characters and organic looking environments than its PC counterpart. Which is nice :D
-
Yea those backgrounds are a little bare - but the levels are pretty big , still would like some more eye candy though.
thanx for the pics though
-
I\'m pretty excited about how this will turn out because programmers complained about the texture streaming thing. And they enviroments in this game are huge I wonder how they will do compared to others.Since they have always have to redraw the enviroment I wonder if the textures will improve.
And they will definetly take advantige of the PS.2\'s ability to draw huge distances.
And I expect that they will make higher poligon models than in the PC version.
-
those pics suck big time (as for now that is), the creatures that are in them appear to be glued on them after the screenshots were made, they show now nteraction at all, bah!
-
Have you ever played the PC version politipet?
Cause this game kicks some serius ass.
And I really expect the graphics to improve if you remember the early GT.3 pics they were very similar.
-
Chrono that must be the original size, thanx ;) When is coming out this game?
-
I agree fully with No-One.
Give them time to improve the game... and those pics are over-sized.
Just wait and see...

I didn\'t play the pc version, but what you said was exactly what I meant, I said as for now it doesn\'t look appealing, but I\'m sure this is going to be a kick ass game with killer graphics, according to what I heard of it, but those pics are mot exactly good

IGN\'s got some weird complex about small pics. "No, no NO! We\'re a big respectable site, our pics must not be this small! We can\'t show pics this small! People visiting the pages will think we have small pe****s too! Let us resize the pics so we feel more mighty! We\'ll have the biggest pics! Yes, mwahhahaha! But they\'ll be really crap quality! No matter, at least they don\'t think we got small pe*****s! Our site\'s the biggest there is! Go stuff it you small-pe... pictured sites!"
Er... not an actual quote from an IGN employee, I\'m just damn tired :snore: and annoyed by them too often blowing up the pic sizes for reasons unknown.

do I sense some kind of irritation in here?
lol, personnaly I don\'t mind if they make the pics bigger, I don\'t mind if the quality gets badder
-
I\'m tired, I\'m trying to finish a ton of homework, I\'m hungry, nobody\'s hugged me in a while, I\'ve lived in selibacy for just over a week, we don\'t have any Coke, I need a shave, I need Z.O.E, I need SmallLady, I\'m agitated.
Dare they resize another pic and I shall dig their hearts out with a fork and... and... and... This is getting outta hand, anybody got any Ritalin? :nut:

There there (hugs Hawke and hands him a Pepsi)
(Hawke replies)You call that a hug!And I wanted Coke not Pepsi you idiot.
That\'s when nO-One runs away crying like a little girl.

Ohh and they shouldn\'t have resized the pics:D
-
IGN resize everything.. It really bugs me.. Because people come back saying the games have jaggies etc etc. But really the game does not. It\'s the stupid resizing.
-
They finally released a demo of the game downloading right now.
-
This sounds wierd but, I couldn\'t help noticing how realistic the trees look.
-
Every week I watch this program on TV which
pre/reviews videogames. Last week they previewed
this \'Citizen Kabuto\' pc game. It featured about
5 min of gameplay. I was awestruck. The graphics,
the animation and the brilliant Brittish humor...
There are strings attached though : this pc version
requieres minimal a PIII 500 Mhz with a
Nvidia Geforce2 GTS and even then framerate can be
awfull low !
Big task for the PS2.
Knotter8 :)
-
hmm
that game looks alittle bland. what is the object of the game? run round looking at grass and small cottages?
-
Well yes the game is very heavy on the machine. And the framerate didn\'t seem very high on my Tbird 800/GF.2 GTS/256mb but it was playable.
The enviroments are HUGE and there is alot going on.
And you can play 3 races each one is different.
Meccs they have rocketpacks and guns.
SeaReapers they cast spells
and Kabuto he is just a Giant with a bad temper which stomps everybody:)
-
So long as the get FSAA up and running and can bump map Kabuto it will look great.
-
Why bother releasing screenshots of games that are not even 50% complete. I really wish they wouldn\'t bother
These shots look like crap

well of course they are going to improve i saqw these pics in ign like 2 days ago in the article they said these are barely released and low quality, the graphics look crappy but they will improve in time, very much improve, i hope this game kicks, i never heard of it
-
those pictures aren\'t so great if you ask me
-
well i saw the pc version and it rocks ! if the ps2 can make as good well they got atleast one sold
-
Sadly I doubt the PS2 version will be able to match the amazing textures that the PC version contains. I hope they can, but it\'s doubtful. :( I really hate when they show early shots, cause as it stands now, the PC one eats that one for lunch and then some.
