This world is really special, there is still things that cant be explained by science.
I belive in science but with some modifications.
After WWII 20 million russian men died. In russia more girls was born then boys, just like everywere in the world, but after WWII things changed, more boys were born than girls. Nature had to make the balance equal and after 15 years there were more girls born again, the pupulation was equal once again.
After WWI the spanich sikness appeared and killed all old and weak people all over europe, Nature had to build up the new population with only the strongest men and women. This to secure future success.
Nature always make things right again.
Here in sweden we hunt elk alot, in russia they dont, the elks in russia and sweden are from the same base of elks. But because of the fact that we hunt them down hard they have to survive in some way. The solution is amazing, when a female russian elk gets pregnent is it for a long while about 15 month, a swedish elk is pregnent for only 8 month, once again nature makes a balance. If we stop shoting elks in sweden the elks would get some kind of sikness that reduces the population and some generations later they will be pregnent for about 15 month again.
Elephants in africa is another amazing example. 25% of newborn elephants dont get tusks.
diseases is natures weapon agains to many individuals in a population, AIDS has one purpose and that is to reduce the population of humans. to make a balance between food and population. If we find a cure for AIDS then Nature will come with a new disease that is even more powerful, if we dont find a cure and the population drops to a nice balance then the disease will dissapear. Nature is doing a lot right now too reduce the population, AIDS, natural disasters, harder for women to get pregnent, and homosexuality is just some methods.
We are talking about polution, how we are destroying the planet earth with the way we live. We aint destroying earth we are destroying for us selfs. If we nuke this planet hard, we die but just wait Nature will bring back life.....

Interesting indeed.. Nature can\'t be fully explained with science \'tho.
But species still vanish from earth; Nature is still slow and it can\'t help everything. It\'s up to us many times to help the nature, to give it time.
Now the pandas are near extinct. They will survive IF we stop killing them and taking them to the zoo.
But humans are greedy, and we kill anything for money... This is for elephants too; they\'re being hunted for their "mammoth-teeth".

Anyone else having any thoughts about this?

Do you remember the chat between Neo, in Matrix, and the bad? He says humans are like viruses...

is nature run by God?

There is some things in nature that is very hard to explain right now.
Maybe the earth has some kind of FF:SW ghaia?

Very interesting...
I never knew that about the elephants and the elks..
Thanks Bossieman!

Interesting read Bossie, ;)
A lot of things changed, for example i\'m allergic, my parents and their parents never were...

I agree with Darth Joyda. We should be less greedy.
More respect for animals. I mean, those lifeforms have
been here on Earth way longer than us humans. So who
are we to say we\'re the ultimate ?
Since December 1999 I turned vegetarian. Not because
I don\'t like the taste of meat, but because of the food industry
which imo abuses animals for their greedy wallots.
Sometimes I have a bit of a hard time when I smell hamburgers
or stuff like that ( my brother and father still eat meat in the family), but I have myself in check. I love animals. The only
flaw I have is the thing with bugs and mosquitos.

Interesting Bossieman. I definitly agree with you. Science can\'t explain everything about Nature and life and all of that. I don\'t think that science will ever explain everything.
-
Yeah, its pretty futile to try to explain the unexplainable with science. For instance, the Big Bang theory.
I once asked someone what the difference was between the Big Bang theory, and the notion that God created the universe by speaking it into existance. Y\'know what? There isn\'t one. Actually, if you think about it, it actually makes MORE sense that God created the universe, rather than the universe spontaneously spawning from nothing. Remember, matter cannot be created, nor destroyed? How was it created to begin with, from nothing, if this universally accepted scientific fact is correct?
One can, of course, debate anything convincingly enough, or if all else fails, passionately enough to sway people to his point of view, but, what it all boils down to is what you think is right. I know what I believe, you know what you believe. For me, there are just some things too sacred to try to explain with science.

I was reading JerginsSoft post and I thought of something. There are many galaxies and planets and other things in outer space for light years and light years far beyond the use of the most powerful microscope on earth and in space. Is it really possible for all that to be created by one big bang? It\'s impossible. Now this will really cook your noodle. How will I be able to explain this. Well, how did the vaccum of space begin? Then how did the thing that created space begin and so on? If you didn\'t get what I just posted, reread it and think about it when your at home or work. You\'ll understand. I actually am really interested in space and all of that. Infact, this is way off topic, but after I chose my user name to this forum, I read a book about our solar system and I read that Titan is one of the moons in Jupiters orbit. A big moon. I thought that this whole post would be interesting.
-
I read somewhere that if you take away all the things you can see in space (like stars, planets, comets, ect) 99% of space would still be here..
Cuz its dart-matter or whatever you call it :)
We are FAR away from understandning the universe!

We will NEVER understand the whole universe. If we don\'t understand anything about our solar system, we won\'t understand others. The only way to sortof understand it is if we send out probes and astronauts.
