Title: Driver 3?
Post by: jenre_uk on February 08, 2001, 12:03:58 PM: I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a Driver 3 in the making for PS2?
i hope so cus Driver 1 kicks ass so 3 would be even better!!!!!!!

Post by: jenre_uk on February 08, 2001, 12:50:33 PM: i must admit that the graphics aren\'t the best i\'ve ever seen but i have driver 1 and the gameplay is excellent which is what really matters!!!
And if they have the same great gameplay i will buy driver 3 even if the graphics aren\'t as good as they could be they will still be better than 1 & 2
So i say it doesn\'t matter bout the graphics that much its the gameplay that counts and Driver certanly has GAMEPLAY

sorry i don\'t have the pictures on me but they where in last months Official PS2 mag in the UK.

I believe they said that before Driver 2 came out, and were referring to not doing another 32-bit one. Driver 3 is almost guaranteed on one of this Gen\'s systems.

yea i loved driver and hated driver 2 - it was way to hard and had too much slowdown.

Oh well heres to looking foward to driver 3

I think you, jenre, now mix up THIS gen consoles to the very next-gen consoles. The announcement was made BEFORE Driver 2 came out, I remember it, and they announced that they won\'t do it for PS, but PS2 and other next-gen consoles.

Actually it\'s been officially stated by the makers that Driver 3 would not be put on the PS2 or XBox or Gamecube because this NEW generation of systems are not powerful enough for what they have in mind for their game. So they said maybe on the XBox2(if they make it) or the PS3. I specifically remember them saying that...
