Why do we, guys in Europe, get to play the
cool games like Onimusha, GT3 and stuff ages
after United States and Japan.
I mean, we have to wait \'til summer.
And please don\'t give me the \' due translation\' argument.
C\'mon.. Don\'t you ppl think Europe should
get same release dates as US.
I\'m friggin tired of always having to wait longer ( mostly
6 months that is )
didn\'t buy my PS2 do get \'lessons in waiting/patience\'.

Third world nations like Europe usally don\'t get the stuff that the modern countries like US and Japan get until much later.... Just the way it is...
And If you can\'t tell I am only kidding... :D

YOU, you, I will **** you for saying that mwuhaahaaa!!!
We Europeans have the greatest fine Arts,
Avantgarde and style.We\'re second to none
nation!!!! Yet some lazy game
companies won\'t give us these games fast enough.
It irritates me big time !

Holland!!!
were the best in the world baby.
but seriously now, the only reason besides translation and stuff is that the games are made in Japan or USA, the games that are made in Europe are released in Europe first, simple as that

Japan and the North America are bigger markets.

Partly true. Together they are a bigger market - but apart EUROPE is the biggest market. And it isn\'t even as \'maxed out\' as the US (I\'m not implying that the US market is maxed out, just that the EU one is even bigger = more potential). Sony sold more PSX in Europe than anywhere else (with the US as a close second).
-
Let me clarify. The \'European market\' is splintered, and different European countries are seperate markets to an extent. The U.S. as a Country is a bigger market than Germany, or France as countries. The European market as a whole is bigger, and has more potential obviously. But since the game industry doesn\'t market, or release the majority of it\'s products to Europe as a whole, it\'s not the same as the US as a whole, where a game is available at the same time, and marketed the same. A hit game in the U.S. is much more important to companies than a hit game in Germany, or Poland. But I digress...

Why O why is Europe always last ?
Because Europe sucks!!!!!
;)
Don\'t feel bad,the Australians usually get their **** around the same time as you guys do.
-
yep. We do. But i really don\'t care. We don\'t get all the crap games like usa.. USA are the test subjects for crappy games. They don\'t sell well in usa. They don\'t get too aus.
-
At least we get them all... Crap is not crap to everyone, at least we get to choose what is crap and what is not... :D
-
Hmmm. I could complain that too :)
We unlucky europeans, and finns, get games much later. Example: Final Fantasy IX is coming out week 7 here!
Btw. I reserved a copy.
-
Thats not true Soul Grind, you guys get a lot of crap games too.
-
The only big problem with Europe for me is that some great games( Xenogears, Parasite Eve, Chrono Trigger, etc) were never launched here.
That problem really annoyed me in the 16-32 bit era, so i hope that this won\'t happen in the future.

Well let me say one thing to the Europeans, and I\'m sure politiepet knows this, that my most eagerly awaited PS2 games is Winning Eleven 5 (the newest KCET ISS Pro game) which will be out in Europe in the fall - a game which may never make it to the US. In that regard I envy YOU guys!
-
stop your whinging.
in australia, we get them at the same time or after you, if we get them at all, and we pay more for them.
at least the dreamcast was given a chance over there.
-
Tell me about it Solid snake!
The PS2-games here costs from 70$ to whopping 85$! The console itself costed 600-700 dollars here!
Now Finland isn\'t even getting new PS2 games! Kokkola has had these same PS2-games for two months now.. That\'s a bad sign.
-
dreamcast is like $ 250
pal and japanese games are like 100 a piece!!!
rippoff!!!!!!!!!!!
