I wasn\'t "Biting your Head off"
And I can guaran****ingtee that I will not like the music or the game. When I dance I want to be free, not follow a game. 10 years of following Jam bands liek the Grateful Dead, Phish, and others have taught me that
It\'s my opinion, but I really despise "Dancing Games"
Don\'t take it personnally, I am allowed to voice my opinion on this PS2 topic

I disagree with your SIG :), sex is always good for a guy and if it aint for you too then you got probs :)
-
Cool! Someone else on this board likes Phish besides me! :)

Well obviously you\'ve never had sex with a woman who had pubic Hairs that felt like a Brillo pad
and yet It was still kinda good

Yep love those hardcore Jam bands, Followed the Dead for over 10 years and 80 shows... Some of my most memorable moments are at these shows, Thats where I dance my ass off
-
I have to completely agree with DDaryl, those music dancing games suck ass IMO, and I had fun playing Parrapa the Rappa for about 2 minutes :), amd that was while I laughed at how ****ty those graphics were, then I gave it back and rented a different game.
-
im not taking it personally..its your opinion..not everyone has the same taste..
-
One of these days someone\'s floor is gonna collapse because of that game. And then they\'ll sue Sony or Konami for making the dumb game.
-
Doesn\'t seem like too many people here like those kind of games. Personally I can\'t stand them either. I know it\'s not true, but I can\'t help but feel they\'re all just glorified versions of Simon put to music. But if other people like them then what the heck. Let\'em enjoy.

That was just a little more info than I needed ddaryl...;)

Sorry, but I had to make my point. I think I did
-
yea i think you got it across and then some
but i like these type of games - its just that i suck at them so bad that i don\'t ever really get into them. Yea and i hate to practice pushing buttons but oh well
-
You know I\'ve never actually tried those arcade dancing games, I\'m too afraid I\'ll end up looking like a complete and utter retard - maybe one day I\'ll try it, when no one\'s around..... ;)
-
yes DDR is quite fun in the arcade, when everyone is watching you, and try to impress them! but for the console....NAH!!
-
ddr is my favorite game of all time, im a sega fan, but if ps2 gets any of the bemani games, i will run to that store that day and pick up the ps2.
if you listen to punk, grunge or rock obviously ddr music isnt gonna be you cup of tea, ddr consists of club, j-pop, happy hardcore, trance and some rock.
the game mostly focuses on club type music. this game is great fun, and good exercise to boot, i have a couple of videos online with me doing dances on ddr at a ddr site.
i have never played a game as enjoyable as this, ive been playing for 9 months or so, and my love for the game is stronger then ever, never have i spent this much time and money on a game.
the game gets really fun when you start to learn how to spin, do hand plants and jumps on the stage. and when you see the lengths people go to for ddr tournaments you cant help but have fun watching the craziness.

yea bandit ... you better start hanging out more with me so we can get some hot freestlyes going. if you don\'t i\'m going to stop by your school and drag you to the arcade. it\'s all about the bar jumping !!
but ddr has quickly become my fav music genre game. i simply can\'t get enough of it. the thrill of dancing along to paranoia is incredible. damn those homepads .. they lose the arcade feel so badly. grrr ...
so bandit, when are we going to play ? don\'t chicken out ! lol, j/k.
-
we can play ALL you want once i graduate from college
-
Bandit, Is your real name James?
-
nope
-
bandit\'s real name is drew carey.
and you really need to play more often instead of watching everyone else play, it\'s no fun if i\'m getting good and you\'re not.

I agree. I think right now I am in a state of amazement with DDR and I go and spend atleast $20 a week on that dang thing (trust me, I can afford it).
I totally agree with you ASHEN VICTOR, doing all those hand plants jumps spins twist is so much fun. If you see the right coordination coming up on screen go down and touch the the front arrow with your knee and then reach back and touch the back one with your hand. Just be original and make up stuff. Oh man, this game is so much fun.
I can do 8 footsteps now, but it is really hard to pull off. I can only successfully pull off a couple of songs at 8 footsteps and 9 is still just a mesh of arrows on screen to me. I\'ll get it soon though. I always do trick mode now too; it\'s just a lot more fun to me.
I think the funnest song to dance to is Dynamite Rave on trick mode (7 footsteps). On 3rd Remix that is.
P.S. I played the home version of the Dreamcast DDR and it kinda sucked. The mat kinda sucked and the game didn\'t have stepping on 2 arrows at the same time.
Oh and I love \'Double\' at the arcade. Have any of you tried this. I\'m not to good at it right now (can only do 6 footsteps), but I\'m getting better. It\'s where you use both players pads and dance or all 8 arrows instead of 4. I think it looks really cool but I still think the single is a little funner.

yes its TRUE !!..my name is Drew Carey ;-)..heh..like i said ill play when i graduate..
