Title: Beware! Freakish question here.
Post by: Eaglepower on February 10, 2001, 05:09:25 PM
Is Tekken Bowl worth the purchase of TTT? There is no good bowling games out right now, so Tekken Bowl is it on PS2. I mean sure I like the fighting, but I\'m more interested in the bowling. Is it like real bowling? Does it have Ten frames, and ten pins? Does it play like real bowling, or is it too easy to strike? Do you play against the CPU or are you solo? Are the physics correctly done? I would have no problem putting down 50 bucks for this game if the bowling plays just like regular bowling. The fighting would be a bonus.

No. The bowling mini game alone isn\'t worth the purchase.

bowling was never meant to be on video games, untill they build a speical bowling controller

okay, I confess,I do like the Tekken Series. There is no way I would buy this game solely on the bowling mini game. I have money burning a hole in my pocket right now, and I\'m just trying to find a reason to take the plunge and pick up this bastard. Oh, and another thing, I do have legs, two of them as a matter of fact. I was trying to be funny, but when the sympathy came, I couldn\'t take it any longer. So here I am apoligizing for pretending not to have legs. I really don\'t know why I wrote that, but it was uncalled for. I am truly sorry if I offended anyone by this stupid obnoxious attempt to throw in humor. Not having legs is not funny. Once again, I apoligize.
Title: Hah! A bowling controller!

Chrono, what a terrific idea!  If we can have peripheral controllers such as "skateboards" and "danceboards", etc.,
can you imagine a joypad in the shape of a bowling ball?!!!  Of course, it comes with a long mat that you unroll on the floor, perpendicular to your television set!  Then you roll the bowling ball towards the TV.  Perfect!  Of course it *would* have to be an infared bowling ball controller as a "corded" bowling ball controller would totally throw off the physics of the roll and therefore ruin the simulation experience for all :(

Yea i go to the bowling alley to pick u p chicks - is it just me or is that sound pretty lame, but its true - i live in a small town so there isn\'t a whole lot do here so i go play pool at the bowling alley and they have some music playing so a lot of hot chicks will come to dance.

Works for me though.

No, Chrono, I should have probably inserted a [wisea$$] kinda addition, cuz my post was meant to be a spoof on your suggestion, not something serious.  Sorry about that!  Just thought the idea of someone coming up with that "for real" would be "over-the-top" when it comes to controllers and the things people take from paper to realization.

Again, didn\'t mean for it to be taken seriously.  Just a joke.

well the ttt game is really great, the bowling part though, is ok, but the physics are not well done, i think it was somthing the devolpers just decided to make in their freetime.
it isnt great, but if youre looking for a wonderful fighting game experience, buy that game!
Title: BTW...how exactly do you access the bowling part?
Post by: w1ngman on February 10, 2001, 10:16:29 PM
Just that, what hoops do you have to jump through in order to access the Tekken bowling option?
