I\'ve heard rumors that a PS2 update is coming with The Bouncer. Is this true, or is this BS just to get my hopes up. What would the update do anyway?
-
What do you mean by update? new hardware, specs...or what?
-
There are drivers on the CD to update the drivers on the PS2 hardware. I don\'t think it\'s a permanent update once you turn off your PS2. It\'s used only for that game.
Correct me if I\'m wrong.

Your right
rumors persist that
1.) DVD problems will be fixed
2.) CD player will have fireworks or something
3.) More settings, saved setting for psx games. They may not look better, possible 640x480 resolution

may not be permanent ? that sucks..i rather have it permanently

yea but that wouldn\'t make any sense if it couldn\'t be saved - then whats the point of a one time update everytime u load your PS2 - well i hope thats not the case - guess we will find out sooner or later
