Well, you all know me to be obsessed with racers... but I would love it if there was a good flight sim in the works for PS2. I would love to be able to fly 747-400 around the world, and crash them, that sorta thing. WHY CAN\'T WE HAVE THAT!!! I don\'t want crappy little planes, I want huge ones!!!
I would love to be able to fly the new Airbus A3XX/A380. I think it would be a huge seller!!!

There are 2 coming
pilot Naruau or something like that
and air battle
ace combat 4 is also coming out
-
Racer :
You can even fly concorde here..check out my flight sim thread.

ye may dad is a big flight sim fan maybe tone of this will be what brings him to console gaming instead of PC
But there is always one thing i wanted to know - how will they incorporate all the buttons of a flight sim into a PS2 controller?
-
I was hoping Sony make the Wingman FlightStick via the USB port.
Landing with a FlightStick is more accurate and safe(from accidents) than a dualshock .
As for the many buttons, the DS can act like a mouse where you control the pointer to activate certain 747 deck switches.

yea that would make it easier for people that want to spend that much money on it - but with the lack of flit sims i would have to think twice before i did
Also about the DS acting as a mouse - it wouldn\'t work in situation where you need to press more than one switch quickly - which can be needed at times in landing or emergencies, but i am sure developers will think of something

ace combat 4 is all i will need once it comes out. that brings back fond memories of the early days of psone, and the amazement that was true 3-d gaming :)

i\'m sure companies like Logitech and Interact (and the rest of those game control manufacturers) will make use of the usb connection in PS2...just have to write a new driver to make them work.
