I reduced my desktop\'s size from 1024×786 to 640×480 for everyone\'s comfort. I\'m still using the same old background I made myself... it suits my style perfectly and all my icons are neatly where they belong :)

I have got the Desktopx program.I think it\'s crap. It takes out so many things from explorer. Makes it harder to move around quick. That bugs me.. It also takes a fair bit of mem out from your com. GAME OR GOOD look desktop. I choose game.

Some of the themes are good. Game themes are funny. :D

Post by: nO-One on February 12, 2001, 12:29:06 PM: It\'s still in it\'s beta.And it does somewhat limit your usual GUI,I just use it when I get to tired of the windows UI (either that or just use BeOS :D).I always use windowblinds though it\'s not the memory hog that desktopX is (I have enough ram though) and it\'s not as unstable.

Yeah, thats what I done. I went to http://www.cluff.demon.co.uk/news.html and looked around. Ended up getting IconPackage and WindowsBlind. DesktopX is to limiting for me. Got annoying fast. But WindowsBlind works perfect...I\'ve got 96 megs of ram, and WindowsBlinds works perfect. DestkTopX didn\'t crash or slow me down, but was just too limiting.
