"BIOHAZARD-CODE: Veronica- Complete Version" will be released for both PlayStation 2 and Dreamcast on March 22, 2001 in commemoration of the franchise\'s (known as Resident Evil in outside of Japan) anniversary. As has been stated before, this "complete" version will contain a special ending that was missing from the original title. The new ending is rumored to tie up many loose ends from the earlier release, specifically the mystery surrounding Wesker. Of course, the passage of time also gave Capcom room to improve the graphics as well, making this the prettiest Biohazard ever - well, as pretty as zombies that are out to devour you can be. And while they won\'t be winning any beauty contests, the complete version packs enough firepower to let you make sure they won\'t be doing much of anything besides dying. Let\'s go shopping!:D

and the price? same as other games?

To hell with Code Veronica complete.. why dosen\'t Capcom release something we\'ve never seen before? I think they should put a bit of time and effort into finishing up the Alpha version of Resident Evil 2 (Which was scrapped when it was about 70% complete and the rebuilt from the ground up as what we know as RE2) and then releasing that as a special edition "What might have been" kinda thing. Or at least finish it just to point where it would be playable and then release that as an addition to a future RE game.

The Alpha RE2 was scrapped because it was supposed to be terrible. While it might be cool to try, do you really want them to release a horrible RE game? No.

This is a great news for me as I haven\'t seen or play CV yet. I am hoping to get it for my PS2. But the problem I have got is, whether they will make a PAL version for this game or not. If anyone knows, please tell me.

You sound pretty hot against Capcom on this one...so please understand that this post is not to get you stoked up even more...just asking a question.
You asked, "...why doesn\'t Capcom release something we\'ve never seen before?" Well, where do you stand on Dino Crisis? To me, that was more than different enough over the whole RE series. Your thoughts?

And what about Onimusha ? Devil may cry? Isnt it quite new?

Every time I look at pics from the scrapped RE2 and the later RE2,I think the scrapped one looked better.
The Zombies look more detailed and in many numbers at screen(I dont know if it had any slowdown because of this.)
Also the backrounds looked a lot scarier and darker IMO.

Looks? That doesn\'t acccount for the gameplay. The gameplay was terrible--so they say. I give congratulations to Capcom for re-doing the whole project, despite the massive demand for a RE sequel at the time.
If they released it, it would of ruined the series. Why would we want them to do that? In my opinion it was a brave move on Capcom\'s part, not to put a second rate sequel out just because of demand.
As for RE:CV--yay! It comes out in March, right? I\'m curious on the new ending. Yum.;)
