Only 3 characters have so far been revealed for Final Fantasy X, with only two of these three having any solid details. Here\'s the details :

Tidus
Age : 17
Sex : Male
Originally known as either Tida or Tide, the official name for this character is now Tidus.
He is Final Fantasy X\'s lead character. He has a cheerful personality and is also an expert at Blitzball.
Blitzball is a strange underwater Soccer / Basketball / Rugby hybrid which is planned to be a mini-game. Rumour says Blitzball is an important part of the plot.
Tidus is an outsider to the main Final Fantasy X world, and it\'s customs and culture are a mystery to him.
Tidus, along with Yuna (see below), is out to get the evil entity known as Sin. His weapon of choice is the sword.

Yuna
Age : 17
Sex : Female
Yuna is the love interest of Tidus.
Yuna is the daughter of a great Summoner, but hates to live in the shadow of her family.
She has been having strange dreams of late, and she believes Sin to be the cause. This is why she teams up with Tidus.
She is a summoner herself, but rarely uses her powers.
Her weapon is the staff.
Interestingly, she has one blue and one green eye. Whether this is important to the plot remains to be seen.

Sin
Age : Unknown
Sex : Unknown
Previously known as Shin. An eternal being known to cause insanity to those who encounter it. Sin is the target of Tidus and Yuna.
Final Fantasy X is set in a post-apocalyptic world, which was ravaged 1000 years previously when a \'Great Terror\' rose from the deep. Most of the world is now covered in water. This \'Great Terror\' could well be Sin.
Sin can only be defeated by a Summoner\'s \'Ultimate Summon\' spell.
The twist with Sin? It has been revealed to not be any sort of \'being\' at all. Instead, Sin manifests itself in a variety of forms, such as earthquakes or other natural disasters.

Other Characters
The names of three other playable characters, none with official Romanised names, have also been revealed : Kitt, Hayate, and Tidus\' mysterious rival Ryugo.

yea i have a feeling this is gonna be alot better than FFVIII, it better be , but i don\'t know if it will be better than IX and VII

Even though VIII was the worst in the series, you honestly can\'t say it was a bad game. Final Fantasy is what people think of when they here the word RPG.
